Situated on a 14.75 acre site on Madison's east side, Union Corners is one of the largest redevelopment projects in the history of Madison. This project, which is in the early stages of development, will include a mix of residential, retail, and commercial space. The development concept plans for 450 dwelling units consisting of both condominium and rental housing choices; and up to 110,000 square feet of retail and office space for lease. Union Corners is prominently situated at the confluence of three neighborhoods: Emerson East, Shenk-Atwood-Starkweather- Yahara, and Worthington Park. The first phase of construction will begin in fall 2006 with building delivery scheduled for to coincide with the 2007 East Washington Reconstruction Project.
